Instructions

Melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar with the cooled chocolate mixture and whisk until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking in each before adding the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa, and salt, then gradually fold into the wet mixture.

Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the brownies for 20 to 25 minutes.
