- 1 1⁄2 lbs baby potatoes, quartered (or russet potatoes, diced)
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1⁄2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1⁄4 cup chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Step 2: Assemble the Dish
- Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly in the prepared dish. Top with the sliced sausage.
- Step 3: Bake
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and golden.
- Step 4: Add the Cheese
- Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 5: Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
