Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 stone fire flatbreads
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, ½’ thick sliced
  • 2 pickles, sliced very thin
  • 1 lb. whole milk mozzarella, freshly grated
  • Ketchup and mustard, for drizzling
  • Garlic aioli & baby arugula, for garnishing

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F and prepare two parchment-lined sheet trays.
  • Brush melted butter around the edges of the premade flatbreads and sprinkle the sesame seeds around the edges on the prepared sheet trays. Par-bake for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat a saute pan over medium-high heat, then add ground beef to the pan to brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  • When the beef is browned, drain the beef and add back to the pan with sliced American cheese.
  • Assembly flatbreads with a zigzag drizzle of ketchup in the center of each flatbread, followed by mustard. Top with mozzarella cheese, then ground beef, red onion, and sliced tomato.
  • Bake flatbread in the oven for 12 – 15 minutes or until cheese is bubble and crusts are deeply golden.
  • Finish your flatbread with garlic aioli and sliced pickles. Slice and enjoy!
