- 2 stone fire flatbreads
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 6 slices American cheese
- 2 Roma tomatoes, ½’ thick sliced
- 2 pickles, sliced very thin
- 1 lb. whole milk mozzarella, freshly grated
- Ketchup and mustard, for drizzling
- Garlic aioli & baby arugula, for garnishing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375° F and prepare two parchment-lined sheet trays.
- Brush melted butter around the edges of the premade flatbreads and sprinkle the sesame seeds around the edges on the prepared sheet trays. Par-bake for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a saute pan over medium-high heat, then add ground beef to the pan to brown. Season with salt and pepper.
- When the beef is browned, drain the beef and add back to the pan with sliced American cheese.
- Assembly flatbreads with a zigzag drizzle of ketchup in the center of each flatbread, followed by mustard. Top with mozzarella cheese, then ground beef, red onion, and sliced tomato.
- Bake flatbread in the oven for 12 – 15 minutes or until cheese is bubble and crusts are deeply golden.
- Finish your flatbread with garlic aioli and sliced pickles. Slice and enjoy!
